Micah Cohen dabbles with mixing formal and casual menswear with Shades of Grey Fall Winter 2013 collection. Athletic inspired garments contrast with more formal menswear tailored pieces: sport varsity jackets with paneled leather and tailored sweatpants come to mind. Color blocking and bold colors in the form of dark tones of navy, greens and muted colors work well. The show also marked the designer’s first steps into womenswear that channel the same energy as the men’s collection.
